1+1=4

Upcoming on Saturday, June 24th, at 7:00 PM, Enlace Art presents its new artistic proposal for Serra de Daró. It’s a dual offering, despite the intriguing title of the exhibition, ‘1+1=4.’ On one side, a dual exhibition featuring Guy Ferrer and Xavier Escribà. The former, based in Perpignan, is an internationally acclaimed painter and sculptor, with his artworks gracing collections worldwide. The latter, hailing from Masarac, situated between the Pyrenees Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, reflects the same duality in his works, straddling the line between painting and sculpture, found in numerous public and private collections. Together, they don’t merely add up; they multiply. Hence, a title that aims to transcend the exhibited artworks, immersing us in a cross-border friendship as a starting point and, of course, as a destination for all of us. A journey that will allow us to get to know two artists while also marking the first occasion for a selection of Guy Ferrer’s works to visit our country.

The exhibition is further enriched by ‘Proposal for a collection,’ a selection of works from private collections featuring names like Anthony Caro, Modest Cuixart, Luís Feito, Amadeo Gabino, Pablo Gargallo, Manolo Millares, Jorge Oteiza, Pablo Picasso, August Puig, Pablo Serrano, Antoni Tàpies, Paco Torres Monsó, and Manuel Viola.

In sum, this presents an excellent reason to explore Ampurdán and be inspired by a space spanning over 900 square meters, dedicated to all art enthusiasts. Our public hours are from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. On Sundays, we are open in the mornings. The exhibition will be open for visits from June 24th to July 30th.
